Long Twin IDE Cable 0.75m

These 40 wire drive cables support UDMA modes 0,1 and 2 (up to UDMA 33) and are ideal for connecting IDE HDD's, CD drives etc. to the controller. If you wish to use UDMA modes higher than mode 2 (UDMA 33) you will require an 80 wire cable instead. However, a .75M length 80 wire cable would be far outside specifications (18' max. length) for an 80 conductor cable. There would also be restrictions on where on the cable the drive needs to be connected. For the above reasons, this 40 wire cable is often used to connect CD and DVD drives where a longer length cable is required. The cable can support two devices (two devices are supported per IDE channel).
