Fibre optic cables for wiring CATV, HDTV, internet, video on-demand and other applications. Multi-mode optical fibre is used over short distances and can transfer data at rates of 10 Mbps to 10 Gbps. Our OM3 fibre optic cables are constructed with 50µm core and 125µm cladding and various connectors. The OM3 range offer a higher bandwidth and greater distance over OM2 cables .Made up of strands of optically pure glass that can be as thin as a human hair. These strands carry digital information with light instead of electrical currents. A transmitter converts electrical data into beams of light that travel along the fibre cable. A receiver converts the light information back into electrical data to be processed.
