Internal IEEE 1394 Firewire - 10 way IDC male to 6 pin male

Many front panels sporting a Firewire socket are powered by a cable which is designed to be plugged onto Firewire header pins on a motherboard. A problem arises when there are no Firewire pins on the motherboard, and it is necessary to connect the cable to an external-style Firewire socket on a backplate. This cable solves the problem by connecting a front panel Firewire header cable to either one of the firewire ports located at the back of the PC or to the internal port (6 pin female) of a PCI Firewire card.
